  • This event has passed.

The Marion Natural History Museum’s community group will be learning a little about Botany & Landscapes during our Nature Drawing and Journaling workshop on Saturday, June 13 from 10 – 12.  We will learn a little about botany, the science of plants, as well as and how to draw a landscape.  Tricia Cassady, Wetland Scientist and Artist of The Art & Nature Studio will introduce you to some introductory botany terms and identification techniques as well as how to draw a landscape using a view finder. No experience necessary!
You can bring whatever materials you would like to work with such as graphite pencils, pens, colored pencils, markers, watercolors and don’t forget a sketchbook! We will be outdoors so please dress appropriately and bring a hat, water, bug spray, sunscreen, a small chair, stool or blanket to sit on. To register please go to www.marionmuseum.org.

We will be meeting at Washburn Park in Marion.
