  • This event has passed.

The New Bedford Science Cafe will be (virtually) hosting Jennifer Francis, Senior Scientist at the Woodwell Climate Research Center, for the discussion, “Arctic Meltdown: Why it Matters to All of Us.” Global Warming, sea-level rise, tropical storms, and extreme weather events are all connected to the rapidly melting and warming Arctic.

Jennifer, who specializes in atmospheric science, will discuss recent research that is throwing light on Arctic-connected momentous changes that will profoundly affect us all.

Head to the New Bedford Science Cafe website for more information!
