Coastal Explorations – Sandy beaches – August 11 – Grades entering 2 – 6

Meet at Silvershell beach to explore our sandy beaches and saltmarsh. Let’s explore what makes these two biologic communities so important to our estuarine ecosystem. We’ll also look at Sprague’s Pond and investigate the important service this area provides. We’ll be conducting hands-on experiments as well as netting fish with the seine net.
