Ram Island is situated within Sippican Harbor and has some unique ecosystems for us to explore. Michael and Hannah Moore have kindly invited our group to explore their saltmarshes, rocky intertidal shoreline, mud flats (depending on tide) and several Osprey nests. This will be a longer trip than usual, so please plan to pick up at the Harbormaster’s Office at 5:00 rather than our usual time. Life jackets will be required, and plan for the kids to get muddy and wet. Please let me know if you absolutely cannot get your hands on a life-jacket and we will see what we can do. Program is limited to 12, sorry parents – this is an afterschool program for children only.
