Have a WHALE of a time at our 2023 summer block party!

Come visit us during our summer kickoff event for crafts, fossil digs, science fun, and free ice cream from Oxford Creamery! Plus, meet life-sized dinosaurs and Delilah the inflatable life-sized right whale! She is 45 feet long and modeled off a real right whale who lived along the east coast of the US and Canada. Delilah and the right whale species are critically endangered with approximately 340 individuals remaining. Delilah would love to tell you her story! Come meet her and climb inside to see bones, lungs, baleen and more! She will be accompanied by two scientists from Whale and Dolphin Conservation located in Plymouth, MA. Delilah will appear outside the museum from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
This free kickoff event is co-hosted with the Elizabeth Taber Library who will have a dinosaur program at 1:00 PM. We hope you can join us!
