Winter Wonder Bugs

November 13 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

New England winters are a harsh and deadly environment. For a cold-blooded animal, such as an insect, ice, snow, and freezing temperatures could spell doom.

But, insects follow one rule: adapt. Over millions of years, they have evolved an array of different modifications and behaviors that allow them to thrive in our frigid New England weather.

Join us as Blake Dinius, Plymouth County Entomologist, introduces us to winter insect adaptations.
